The AED 30,000 threshold is based strictly on basic salary only, excluding any allowances such as housing, transport, or other benefits. To qualify under this route, the applicant’s basic salary must be at least AED 30,000.
ELIGIBILITY
Who Qualifies
To qualify as a salaried professional, you must meet all of the following requirements.
- Basic monthly salary of at least AED 30,000 — allowances excluded
- MoHRE Occupational Level 1 (managers/executives) or Level 2 (professionals)
- Valid employment contract approved by UAE Ministry of Human Resources (MoHRE)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, fully attested
- MoE equivalency certificate if degree is from outside the UAE
- At least 2 years of continuous employment with current employer (from Jan 2025)
- Valid UAE health insurance throughout the visa period
- Valid practicing licence if profession is regulated (doctors, engineers, teachers)
- No criminal record or unresolved legal matters in the UAE

Your role must fall under MoHRE Skill Level 1 or Level 2. Roles at Level 3 — including most sales, customer service, and administrative positions — do not qualify even if salary exceeds AED 30,000.

- Bank statements for the last 6 months showing consistent salary deposits
- Employment contract approved by MoHRE
